USCIS Restarts Premium Processing For 2018 Cap-subject H-1B Visas
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services on Monday said that it will immediately restart “premium processing” for all 2018 cap-subject H-1B visa petitions. The program was suspended in April but USCIS allowed premium processing for certain applicants such as Physicians under the Conrad 30 Program, applicants with IGA waivers (Interested Government Agency) and certain H1B petitions which were not subject to the annual cap. The resumption of premium processing only applies to cap-subject petitions. Expedited processing through the premium processing program does not apply to H1B extension or renewal requests at this time.
