Ms. JENNIFER WASSERSTEIN is an Associate at Immigration Law Group, PC. Ms. Wasserstein's area of expertise lies in complex federal litigation before immigration courts and, particularly, federal trial and appellate courts nationwide. Ms. Wasserstein's specialization is employment-based immigrant visas through the labor certification/PERM process and national interest waivers (NIW) for nationally and internationally acclaimed professionals, as well as through extraordinary ability visas (EB-1). She also specializes in deportation/removal defense and asylum cases. Ms. Wasserstein is a member of the State Bar of California. She holds a J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law, and a B.A. from the University of Virginia. Ms. Wasserstein developed her interest in immigration law while in law school, where she primarily studied immigration law and served as an intern for the ACLU's Immigrants' Rights Project, writing comments on behalf of the ACLU on INS' regulations regarding mandatory and indefinite detention. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Wasserstein practiced in both the federal government and the private sector handling a wide array of complex federal litigation.
